BILL CARSON is a noted Celtic folksinger, born in Glasgow, Scotland and raised in Galway, Ireland. He has
performed on radio, television and in concert throughout Scotland, Ireland, Canada and the United States.
He has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Chicago's Gate of Horn, Boston's John Hancock Hall, San Francisco's
Hungry i, plus a large number of other famous folkclubs and Irish pubs. On this, his third album, Bill will be
heard on guitar, bass and vocals.
THE BEGGARMEN are composed of Seamus Kennedy, from Belfast, and Tom O'Carroll, from Dublin. They
are a fine duo of Irish musicians, who met, in New York, three years ago. They formed The Beggarmen
and were an immediate success at such places as Matt Kane's Bit O' Ireland, in Washington, D.C., The Shieling,
in New York, and Chicago's Emerald Isle Pub. They have played engagements at most of New England's well
known folkclubs and Irish pubs. Seamus performs on guitar, mandolin and vocals. Tom will be heard on banjo,
mandolin, guitar, vocals and tin whistle. This is their second album, in addition to a number of radio, television
and college concert performances.
CHRIS HENSHAW is a well known Irish balladeer, on both continents. He has left his native Dublin and toured
the concert circuit throughout Ireland, Europe, Canada and the United States. In addition to radio and television
appearances, he has performed on a USD tour, at the big Irish show in Madison Square Garden, and many of the
noted Irish pubs, in this country. Chris will be heard on guitar and vocals. This is his second album.
BOB BENSON will be heard playing whiskey bottle, spoons and bodhran. The bodhran is a medieval Irish drum, with a
single head of goatskin, played with a double-headed drumstick. Bob is allegedly the only Irish-American currently playing
this aiicient drum professionally.
