Seamus Robinson passes away
POPULAR Belfast songwriter Seamus Robinson died on September 14, 2009 following a short battle with lung cancer. Seamus, who was 69, died at his home in Coolnasilla Drive in west Belfast surrounded by his family. Seamus was well known to millions for the much-loved and widely-travelled ballad "Take Me Home to Mayo". Seamus was a great friend to and supporter of this website, and I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
